Privacy & cookie policy

Updated:

This policy explains how Maham Alarabia Automatic Doors & Garages ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website or contact us, and how cookies and advertising work on this site. We process personal data in accordance with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.

Who we are

Maham Alarabia Automatic Doors & Garages, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Contact: info@garagedoorsksa.com · 057 006 6357

What personal data we collect

  • Service requests: when you use our request form we collect your name, mobile number, email address (optional), district, property type, preferred date, the type of door and the description of the problem you give us.
  • Calls, WhatsApp and email: the details you share when you contact us, including photos or videos of your door if you choose to send them.
  • Job records: the address of the property, work carried out, quotes, invoices and service reports.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider records information such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit. Advertising partners may also collect technical data through cookies (see below).

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to include it in messages.

How and why we use it

  • To respond to your request, book visits, send quotes and carry out the work (performance of a service you asked for).
  • To issue invoices and keep records required by Saudi law, including tax and commercial regulations (legal obligation).
  • To keep a service history for doors under a maintenance contract (performance of a contract).
  • To contact you about your request or job — we will not send marketing messages unless you agree to receive them (consent).
  • To keep the website secure and understand how it is used (our legitimate interests).

We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary:

  • Our technicians and staff, to carry out your job.
  • Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as our website host and our email provider for request forms (currently Brevo), under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Advertising partners such as Google, as described in the cookies section.
  • Google Maps: the map on our Contact page is provided by Google, which may set cookies and receive your IP address when the map loads, under Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside the Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on the transfer conditions permitted under the PDPL and its regulations.

Cookies and advertising

This website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to work properly and to show advertising.

We use Google AdSense to display ads. In line with Google's requirements:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

If you visit from a region that requires consent for advertising cookies (such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), you will be asked for permission before such cookies are set.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies won't stop you from using the site or sending a request, though ads may be less relevant.

How long we keep data

We keep service-request details for as long as needed to respond to and complete your request. Job records and invoices are kept for the period required by Saudi commercial and tax regulations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your personal data is collected and used;
  • access your personal data and obtain a copy of it;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request destruction of your data when it is no longer needed, subject to legal retention requirements;
  • withdraw your consent where we rely on consent.

To exercise these rights, email info@garagedoorsksa.com. We will respond within the time limits set by the PDPL regulations. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this website and limiting access to job records to staff who need it.

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging services for their property. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
