Terms & conditions
Updated:
These terms apply to services provided by Maham Alarabia Automatic Doors & Garages in Riyadh, and to the use of this website. By booking a service or using the website you agree to them.
1. Quotes and prices
- Every repair or installation starts with a written quote. No work is carried out until you approve it.
- A visit or inspection fee may apply. We will tell you the amount when you book.
- Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices include VAT at the applicable rate unless stated otherwise.
- If we find additional faults during the work, we will stop and quote for them separately before continuing.
2. Bookings, access and cancellations
- We will agree a visit time with you. Traffic and emergency call-outs can affect arrival times; we will let you know if we are running late.
- Please make sure the technician can safely reach the door, its motor and the power supply, and tell us about any hazards on site.
- If you need to cancel or move a visit, please tell us as early as possible.
3. Parts and guarantee
- Parts we supply and our workmanship are guaranteed from the date of the work for the period stated on your quote or job report.
- New doors, openers and motors also carry the manufacturer's warranty, as stated in their documentation.
- The guarantee does not cover damage caused by impacts, misuse, power surges, flooding or fire, work carried out by others, or normal wear of consumable parts such as remote batteries.
- If something we fixed goes wrong within the guarantee period, contact us and we will inspect and put it right at no cost if it is covered.
4. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing, for example under a maintenance contract. We issue a tax invoice for every payment.
5. Maintenance contracts
Maintenance contracts are governed by the specific terms in the contract document, including visit frequency, response times, what is included and how the contract is renewed or ended. Where those terms differ from these general terms, the contract terms apply.
6. Safety
- Our technicians may refuse to operate or leave a door in service if it is unsafe. We will explain why and what is needed to make it safe.
- If you choose not to carry out a repair we recommend for safety reasons, we will note this on the job report.
7. Liability
We take care to protect your property while we work. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for faults caused by conditions we could not reasonably have known about. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Saudi law.
8. Use of this website
- The guides and articles on this website are general information to help you understand your doors. They are not a substitute for an inspection by a trained technician. Do not attempt work on springs, cables, tensioned parts or electrical systems yourself.
- We try to keep information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free.
- This website shows advertising served by Google. Advertisements are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the products or services of advertisers or for third-party websites linked from this site.

9. Personal data
We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute will be referred to the competent courts in Riyadh. If there is any difference between the Arabic and English versions of these terms, the Arabic version prevails.
